I have returned from the trip to Arnhem Land. Filled with challenges, amazing experiences and such a great chance to observe, work with and get to know a little about the educational challenges for all people living in such remote places. I have returned feeling even more strongly that a national ranking system of schools is one of the most completely ridiculous and misleading things a government has ever done. How anyone could compare inner Melbourne with Elcho Island in terms of facilities, infrastructure, etc etc is beyond me!!!
