Walker Learning Study Tour F-2
5th and 6th May
This two day study tour is a great opportunity to observe and unpack the key elements of Walker Learning for Junior Primary.
We are very excited to be responding to the widespread interest in NZ about Walker Learning by conducting our first National Study Tour for preschool to year 3. This builds on the support our team has been providing to Longburn School and Lytton Street School in the Palmerston North area. Both schools are implementing Walker Learning from reception to year 6.
Shona will be in Wellington 9 May, Christchurch on 11 May and Auckland on 13 May.

We are delighted to announce that a Walker Learning school is being purpose built in Bali. More news to follow but this is a major initiative in one of our international projects for personalised learning to meet the needs of local communities.

A great opportunity for families to send screens, ipads, smart phones and gaming on holidays and provide lots of time and recreation outdoors for children as the holidays commence soon.
We enjoyed a great outdoor learning experience combined with Zart Art, the Education Staff of the Botanic Gardens, a welcome to country and great practical experiences to share with children. Two more of these are scheduled for Autumn and Spring for 2016.
We welcome a group of leaders and teachers to Early Life Foundations as part of their Walker Learning Study tour which takes them to regional Victoria and SA to visit and observe teachers in Catholic and state schools this week implementing Walker Learning.
We are excited to be hosting our Bush Kindergarten session this week with Wilson Street Kinder at Landcox Park and follow up PD at our Foundation.
We have our Early childhood study tour this Friday and thank St. Kilda and Balaclava Kinder and Wattle Tree Early Childhood Centre for opening their doors to us.
It was great to present Social and Emotional Learning to St. Francis of the Fields in Strathfieldsaye on Monday. Great team of staff, so committed to reaching out to all children.
Up in NSW Sydney and Terrigal with Explore and Develop to work with Early Childhood Educators and parents for two great days.

We welcome our participants to our two day intensive on Emotional Intelligence this Monday and Tuesday.
