So what's the Hurry? Slowing the pace of life and creating positive patterns for later in life.

Life seems to be increasingly hectic with little time to relax at home. Setting patterns now in your child’s life will influence the way they approach teenage hood and adult life.

The presentation highlights the importance for families and children to avoid becoming caught up in the rushed and hurried world. Many children are scheduled into so many extra weekly curricula activities that there is almost never a day when everyone can relax at home or simply go out together to the beach or the park as a family. This session provides examples of how careful we have to be to not over value extra curricula activities, how to slow down a little and discusses ways in which family and home life can influence later lifestyle choices and behaviours.
