Parent Information: Consultation; Assessment and Support

 Thank you for contacting our Early Life Foundations, we look forward to working with you.

A major part of our service to the community is parent support: This includes the "outreach program" that we have developed over the past few years to voluntarily assist parents who need parenting support.  We aim to provide a greater, wider and broader range of outreach programs to parents and organisations throughout Australia in effective parenting and lifestyle choices for children and families that promote resilience, self esteem, time for leisure and play and well being for children and families.

One of these services is a 15 minute free phone consultation offered to parents; in this initial consultation suggestions and strategies can be discussed with parents.  If you would like to access this service please contact us at the office by phone (03) 9596 9949 or via the "contact us" on this website.

In some cases however parents require further support. If this is the case we (where possible) will provide the option of additional support (cost incurred) or make a referral to another professional.  The following is a cost schedule for parents who are seeking support from our organisation that is additional to the initial phone consultation.

• A one hour consultation in your home $150 (metropolitan Melbourne, a travel fee applies outside metropolitan Melbourne)
• A one hour consultation in our offices $120 (Brighton, Victoria)
• A one hour phone consultation $100
• A school readiness assessment of your child $330 (at their early childhood program which includes a written report and a 2 hour visit plus phone consultation with parents)

We strongly recommend that if there are two parents parenting, both are present at the consultation unless this is not appropriate.

Once you have spoken with us regarding a paid consultation, please send cheque or EFT payment (details listed below) to secure your consultation and either post or email the parent consultation information form attached at bottom of this page.
