Kathy and her Associates, all with education and additional qualifications including special education, are available to conduct individual school readiness assessments and to advise parents of choice of school options.

These assessments may assist parents and teachers in their decision making process as to whether a child could benefit from an additional year in preschool before commencing school. The School Readiness Assessment (SRA) is conducted through the following process:

• Permission by parent and early childhood teacher to visit the program and observe the child.
• Permission to access early childhood teacher's developmental observation records of the child.
• A two-hour observation at early childhood centre.
• Discussions via phone or face to face with parents.
• Discussion with early childhood teacher.
• A written report and recommendation is provided.

The cost for an assessment including the written report is $330.00 plus GST
