Description

You may ask “How on earth can you run a Bush Kinder Outdoor Learning program without being outdoors?” Well, through a combination of presentation slides, video, expert panel discussions, virtual walk throughs and audience Q&A we will take you on your Bush Kinder journey from the comfort of your living room, garden or even your work environment. As with the Face to Face event, our online event is also a SCHOOL READINESS FUNDING APPROVED PD.

This dynamic webinar by our Walker Learning Consultants examines the importance of Bush Kinder and what you need to know to get started, including pedagogical theory, establishing routines, risk benefit assessments and resourcing Bush Kinder experiences to enhance children’s well-being.

Our online panel of Walker Learning and Bush Kinder experts will bring expertise and relevance to the discussion on the critical role of the natural environment in the lives of young children.

We will use videos and virtual tours to show children and educators in a natural outdoor learning environment.

We encourage interaction throughout the day with polls and quizzes, we have a comment board where we will invite you to share your thoughts and post questions for our experts. We also have a special offer at the end of the session for all online attendees – 1 month FREE to our membership program launching this month.

This PD is a must for teachers and educators working with children aged birth to five, working in early childhood centres (prior to primary school)
