How do we know if a child is ready for kindergarten or school?

What is expected in the first year of school?

There are a number of elements to be considered with these decisions.

We will explore the following aspects of readiness in this session:

  • Maturation and development
  • Temperament
  • Child’s position in the family
  • Philosophical attitude to education
  • Decision making process and planning ahead

This morning session is a must PD for teachers and educators working with children aged three to five.
