WHAT IS KINDY UPLIFT in QUEENSLAND?

All Queensland kindergarten services who are approved Kindergarten Program Providers are eligible to receive Kindy Uplift. Kindy Uplift funding can be used to respond to children’s learning and development needs through evidence-based initiatives that lift outcomes for kindergarten children. Kindy Uplift can fund professional development, programs, resources and supports to build teacher and educator capability and support inclusion in all approved kindergarten programs, including sessional and long day care kindergarten services.

Kindy Uplift funding is used to strengthen children’s access to, and meaningful participation in a range of kindergarten experiences. Kindy Uplift focuses on 6 priority areas:

    1. Culturally safe, inclusive and responsive kindergarten programs
      • Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives
      • Equity and Access for all
    2. Social and emotional learning
    3. Physicality
    4. Executive function
    5. Language and literacy
    6. Mathematics and numeracy

All our Kindy Uplift sessions can be delivered as fast-paced Live Webinars or in person. We have discounts available and can offer flexible delivery to suit the needs of your team. We can also support your team with custom mentoring and support which can either be delivered online or in person.
