Trudi Rei

CONSULTANT, NZ

Trudi is our Walker Learning consultant based on New Zealand. She is currently the Deputy Principal of Lytton Street School in Feilding, NZ. Trudi has been teaching for 18 years in various locations around NZ and the UK. She studied at the Wellington College of Education and holds a Bachelor of Education. Trudi has had experience teaching all levels from New Entrants to Year 6, as well as from a range of social and cultural backgrounds. Trudi has been instrumental in the implementation of Walker Learning as a whole school philosophy at Lytton Street School. She currently oversees the New Entrant Team and the transition to school process. Other aspects of her role include ensuring students with special needs are well catered for and are experiencing success at school.  Trudi has a passion for neuroscience, personalised teaching practices, special needs education and developmentally appropriate practice.
