CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING

Child protection training is essential for all early childhood educators in Australia, ensuring they understand their legal responsibilities and are confident in recognising and responding to signs of abuse, neglect, or harm. Educators must be aware of the legislated requirements in their state or territory to meet their duty of care and mandatory reporting obligations. Our accredited course, CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk, provides the foundational knowledge and skills required by law, while the Child and Young Person at Risk Refresher Training Course supports educators in keeping their knowledge current and their practice aligned with best-practice standards.

CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk

Nominated supervisorspersons in day-to-day charge, and family day care coordinators must complete an approved child protection course such as CHCPRT025.

This course equips you with the knowledge and skills to recognise signs of abuse or neglect and take the right steps to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
