Bush Kinder Planning and Documentation
What you will learn from this session:
This session provides suggestions for effective ways to plan and document children’s learning and development at Bush Kinder to ensure learning outcomes are achieved and the framework and assessment criteria are met. This session can be viewed as a stand alone professional development session or can be completed in conjunction with the sessions outlined in our Bush Kinder Certification pathway. Our Bush Kinder Certification pathway can assist teams choosing to implement a 2 year planning timeframe.
Participants attending Bush Kinder Planning and Documentation will:
- Be shown ideas on ways to focus on planning and documentation that enhances and supports your interactions with children in your Bush Kinder setting.
- Learn ways to ensure that the learning in Bush Kinder links back to possibilities at preschool.
- Be given sample planning documents and suggestions on ways to collect, collate and manage your records.
- You will see how to document children’s learning using a practical range of strategies that link to the National Quality Framework and Assessment process of the EYLF version 2
- You will receive completed sample planning document template examples to guide your centre’s Bush Kinder Planning and Documentation.
- You will receive blank Bush Kinder documentation templates.
- Hear from our team of Bush Kinder consultants who have a wealth of experience in nature-based teaching and learning. We will address commonly asked questions and provide opportunites for professional discussion and questions.
